Re: Mathematician & crochet to understand weather patterns

-Boss walks in... "What are you doing"!!!!

-Surprised mathematician - "Ahh, hmmmm, ummmm, I ahh.. am playing crochet to determine ahhh.. um... weather patterns"!

-Boss "You can do that"! "Wow, lets put out a press release"!

-Math guy "Ah, ummmm, well maybe we should wait a little while.. excuse me.. (calling his shot) 'white ball into the side bracket'...

-Boss "This is even better that your colleague down the hall who I found testing gravity last week with the section secretary on my desk"!

-Math guy... "I think that we can get additional funding"!

-Boss "I can get a golf ball into a glass from 30 feet"! "These weather patterns are really quirky, perhaps additional funding can secure me a new putter, because of global warming"!

-Math guy "Maybe, yes, but can we hold off on the press release, please"?
