1955 'Origin of Life' Paper Is Retracted »
Posted by: capn_caveman 10 months, 2 weeks agoIn 1955, Homer Jacobson, a professor at Brooklyn College, published a paper called "Information, Reproduction and the Origin of Life" in American Scientist, the journal of Sigma Xi. He has now retracted the paper because creationists cite it as proof that life could not have emerged on earth without divine intervention

Of course they will. But it will be cheerful to note that the people responding to their arguments can now claim that the study was retracted solely because the author thought it was pure BS that it was used as a weapon against science.
