I'm not sure if this can happen. But if Ted Turner would stop buying Nebraska, using the property for raising Buffalo for his restaurants, surely he could grow vegetables to feed part of the world's poor that he cares so much about.

I'm not so sure Nebraska is fertile enough for growing veggies. When you till the plains and remove the grass holding the soil together, bad things can happen erosion-wise. But there is merit in what you say.

Now, it's my understanding one of the potential benefits of cloning is the ability to clone meat, for lack of a better term. Something about not needing to clone an entire animal, just the meaty portions, like a thigh or something that gets nutrients via saline/vitamins or similar method.

People eat tofu when there is no food available; OR their ass is so big they can't get out of their chair.

More importantly, can people have a planet that is made out of meat?
