There are many, many billions in public and private funds being spent globally on all of the projects mentioned in the article.

We should be building nuclear plants. Wind, solar, biofuels etc. are never going to supply enough energy for highly industrialized countries.

The bottom line is that we should spend money on projects they feel we need regardless of if it is needed or has anything to do with warming. A lot of money is now being spent based on junk science with very little progress.

Disruption of Middle Eastern oil flow would put the world into massive war far more quickly than climate change... we're talking days or weeks, not years.
