People need to remember what the country was like going into the 70's. Smog index in LA. Rivers and lakes were cess pools and running sewer systems. Air pollution reigned supreme. Ground polution was going strong. Many laws were passed and slowly the air became clear, lakes and rivers became much safer, ground pollution has been worked on. While not completely done the biggest part of the job has been done. In the early 80's at times if you were on the other side of the mountain from LA you could see the brown smog coming over the mountains. Today the air is clear.
Of course to the wacko environmentalist they see it as it was back then. Anything less then extreme laws and enforcement is horrible.

        LOL, i think you are confused LibsRfunny.. The IPCC included only people with a educated reason to be involved.
        The OISM Petition, allows ANYONE to sign it.. Hence why im getting an 80's 1 hit wonder musician listed as a geologist to play a prank on them.. It wouldn't be the first time either, couple years ago Michael J. Fox was listed in it, as were the SPICE GIRLS.....
        IF you want to lose all credibility and say that the IPCC is no different, than a petition with no checks or balances, that allows teenie bopper girl bands to be listed as scientists.. By all means do so, just don't expect anyone to ever take you seriously again.
