Many, many years ago, I saw a movie short of such a thing happening. Some indigenous tribe was having a problem with a large snake near their village so they planned to capture the snake by placing a pig in a large cage and left it outside. The snake got into the cage, swallowed the pig whole and was unable to get out of the cage because its body swelled with the whole pig. They then disposed of the snake. Pretty clever, I thought at that time.
