Posted By Neophile 4 months, 2 weeks ago in Science & TechnologyExtinction is so much a part of today's cultural background -- this species endangered, that habitat lost, save the whale, save the rhino, save the rainforest -- that it's strange to think that as little as 200 years ago, most people didn't think extinction was possible.
