They did find a political pamphlet, dating from the first election in 1789.
WHO THEN IS THIS 'GEORGE' WHO COMES AMONG US WITH THE NAME OF OUR ENEMY? IF HIS NAME IS 'GEORGE' IS HE NOT A SYMPATHISER TO THE KING?
AND ARE NOT THE WASHINGTONS AN ENGLISH FAMILY? DOES HE NOT STILL CALL 'COUSIN' MANY WHO LIVE IN ENGLAND AND KISS THE KING'S BEHIND?
AS FOR HIS EXPERIENCE, HE HAS HELD NO POLITICAL OFFICE BUT BY APPOINTMENT. WE NEED GOVERNORS TO GOVERN, NOT JACK-OF-ALL-TRADES.
MANY OF THOSE HE CALLS 'FRIEND' ARE WHISKEY-TRADERS, LAWYERS, AND THOSE WHO PROFITED IN THE LATE WAR. THEY LOITER IN THE LOBBIES OF FINE HOUSES, SEEKING WAYS TO PROFIT BY -"
The pamphlet goes on to imply that Martha Washington said nasty things about Virginians, and ends with a possible pun about the country needing 'a president with teeth'.

Of Course there is no cherry tree. He cut it down and then had the stump removed to get rid of the evidence.
If only his conciense had not gotten him we never know of his crime against nature.
